Biography

Cindy Hedinger has been visually impaired since the age of 9 from a brain tumor. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Tampa with a Bachelor of Science degree in business management. Cindy is a member of St. Paul Catholic Church where she is active in the Visually Impaired Persons group. She is a member of the Board of the Tampa Bay Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind. She has volunteered at the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center in the Development Department for the past 17 years. Starting in 1998 with the For Eyes Only Support Group and continuing with YES! of America United, Cindy serves as Activity Coordinator working with the Heartstrings Program of the Florida Orchestra and the Arts Council of Hillsborough County. Cindy is a member of the Board of Directors of YES! of America United.
