YES! has an on-going yarn collection and knitting program that turns your donated yarn into finished gift items or items we deliver to hospitals. Currently we have two groups of knitters accomplishing this for us: One that meets at a local library and also a group at Coleman Prison. Any yarn donations, even small remnants of the original skeins, will be appreciated . If you are purchasing yarn intending for it to be used for creating either preemie hats or hats for cancer patients please consider purchasing yarn that is 100% cotton, not wool.
